Virginia Critical Incident Stress Management Operations

This page includes information provided by the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services on mission taskings for and status of Critical Incident Stress Management during declared disasters. The Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services manages the statewide network of volunteer Critical Incident Stress Management Teams which respond (1) regionally to needs for support to emergency services workers in critical incidents, (2) statewide in disasters, and (3) interstate under the Emergency Management Assistance Compact. Information on mission taskings and incident status is provided by the Office to increase accessibility of information needed for emergency response planning by Teams and individual CISM providers outside of normal work hours.
