Euro-spec Beetle pictures

These pics show the Euro-spec New Beetle.

	From the front there is little to distinguish the Euro Bug from the USA model. The indicators are clear with amber bulbs and the license plate is wider than US cars.
As per latest US spec, the european cars have side repeater indicators. These are a legal requirement on all new UK and Euro cars.
	I took this from the top floor of VW's stand. In the background is a new VW Lupo supermini who's interior design is heavily influenced by the NB. I don't believe the Lupo is destined for America. What a pity - it's a great little car.
Now you can see where the Euro-spec NB differs from the US model. The rear side markers have been removed, the license plate aperture is bigger (17" for UK and Europe) and one of the reversing lights is now a rear fog light. Day running lights are not fitted and the front indicators are not illuminated at night.
