The Dark Tower series is a tale of a man's quest to reach the Dark Tower of his dreams and nightmares. As he crosses a desert of damnation in a macabre world that is a twisted mirror image of our own. With him are those he has drawn to this world...Eddie Dean,Susannah and Jake. Together they make a ka-tet(which means a group of people bond together by fate). Each member of a ka-tet is like a piece of a puzzle. Taken by itself each is a mystery,but when they are put together, they make a picture...or part of a picture. It may take a great many ka-tets to finish one picture(I hope in this situation it does not). My biggest fear is that Roland may not live to see the Tower or that Stephen King may not finish the series. In the latest book they are still following the Path of the Beam and getting closer to the Dark Tower(bird and bear and hare and fish).
