The old year has slipped away:
Another one begins a new
Yet I could never endure
One moment without you.
For you are the world to me.
The moon the stars the sky.
What would the New year matter
Without you by my side.
From My heart, I make this vow.
I swear by God above
To try to keep everything safe forever
To honor you with my love.
And if the day should come
That you say goodbye
