I believe that in many ways sports parallels life. In any endeavor physical or mental success favors the prepared man. I strive to help those who want to help themselves. Teamwork and perseverance go well in any circle. An athlete who puts forth his best doesn't notice winning or losing only success. Just keep getting better and everything else falls into place. I strive to teach as well as coach. There is life after sports and we should prepare for it.

weekend's game at Taegu: from this week's Seoul Word: Warriors Make it Two in a RowJohn Price, Photojournalist The Yongsan Dragons have started something no one ever imagined: a losing streak. The setting was different, but the final result was the same as the Warriors made it two in a row with a hard-fought 18-14 victory over the Dragons at Taegu on Saturday. The Dragons trailed after half-time, 6-0; however, a TD run by Jerry Robinson, followed by a two-point conversion run by Rickey Coleman, put the Dragons on top, 8-6. The Warriors added two more scores, one pass and one run, to pull ahead for good. The Dragons of old finally appeared with less than two minutes to go in the game and the clock quickly winding down. Moving the ball effortlessly down the field, Chester Boyles threw a short pass to Wesley West for a touchdown. The two point conversion failed. The Dragons called for an onside kick, but the ball was recovered by the Warriors who simply ran out the clock to end the game. Due to the upcoming Chusok holiday, the Dragons’ next game will not be until 10 October against the Yongsan Raiders at Lombardo Field.
