This was my first snow fall in Shenandoah County, and it happened just a few weeks after I arrived in Feb. 99.

The last time I saw this much snow was in Japan when my family and I was there for my aunt's wedding. The snow there was so deep...

"How deep was it?" asked the curious reader.

It was so deep... That my brother, Randy was in a phone booth and the snow was over the booth.

The schools here were closed, and since I have a Jeep Wrangler, I was ordered to volunteer to be the chauffer for those in the in office that couldn't make it through the snow. I think there was only one...

I like Virginia in snow time... How about you?
