What Does Your Soul Look Like?
For me this is the absolute pinnacle of music and DJ Shadow's finest
work.
"What Does Your Soul Look Like?", is a single lasting over half an hour,
but broken up into four parts, or as I think of them movements. It
should not however be regarded as a four track e.p., as they really are
merely parts of a whole. The emotional scope and precision of this piece
is just astounding you can just feel the hairs on the back of your neck
beginning to stand on end as the intro kicks in and before you know it,
you're completely engrossed in it and quite incapable of turning off your
stereo, so make sure you can have 30 minutes quality time with before you
start. To summarise, if you haven't got it, BUY IT!
