Merry Meet!

I am Pagan. Living the life of a pagan is not an easy one---but it is a rewarding one. The love power I have felt from some of my fellow pagans cannot be compared to anything else on this planet.

Paganism, no matter which path you follow, is not "yet" a widely accepted path. There are so many negative thoughts associated with being a "witch", that it is hard to get anyone to take you seriously or to understand that witches are not evil. I myself have experienced a few "funny looks" and career disadvantages because of my beliefs. I don't hide the fact that I am pagan.

I am what is known as an eclectic pagan. Meaning that I seek knowledge from all paths and incorporate what I have learned into my own belief system. I have much to learn from my brothers and sisters!! I do tend to resonate well with herbs.

I started out on my path of learning by seeking herbal remedies to get my son off ritalin. I have had a little success with that, however not enough to satisify a very dogmatic public school system. My search goes on...(If anyone has any suggestions on this I would appreciate a personal email from you!)

My continued studies brought me to the magickal aspect of paganism. Now this doesn't mean that I "suddenly" realized that I was pagan. I have been interested in the occult most of my life. I just didn't realize what paganism was , and upon discovering it, realized that this is what I had been heading towards all my life. The reverence, peace and love I feel since becoming pagan are all that I could ask for. I feel like I have "come home".

My fellow pagans have been very instrumental in my growing process. Without them, and the love of my son, I would not be the loving and understanding person I strive to be today.

All said, I truly want people to know that witches are not evil, on the contrary, they are some of the most giving and caring people I know. They take pride in our Mother Earth, and they strive to make this a better place, not only for us now, but for our children and grandchildren.
