Life and Death

by Shadowdance

Where life doest breathe it's dying breath
And all time passes before it
There is a power, that moment lends
For all there to absorb it.

To make us greater than we were
Yet no more greater still
Than all the power already there
Except to notice it, if we will.

Our mother Earth, our sister moon
And all the stars that shine
The father sun, a loving one
Lends wisdom and truth devine.

So take upon ourselves this test
To find the balance within us
Where life and death meet as one
And true love exists between us.
