We split up the FAQ section
into 3 parts. The Game, Technical and Site FAQ. Choose which type you want
to view. |
Q:
What is the combination of the safe?
A:
36-10-59-97, look in the Characters section for details.
Q: Where is the Final Attack
materia?
A: The Final Attack materia
can be obtained at the Battle Arena. First you must have won the W-Summon
materia and the Omnislash. Use the Omnislash on Cloud and talk to the woman
at the counter. She'll ask you if you want to participate in the Advanced
league. Say yes and defeat all 8 enemies. At the end you'll receive the
Final Attack materia.
Q: I can't get Tifa's Limit
4!
A: Check the characters
section.
|
Q: Is there a way to revive
Aeris?
A: There is only one way
to get Aeris back. Press the reset button and start the game from the beginning.
:P (Note that we get a bit tired of these false rumors, also there is no
Onyx WEAPON, you cannot play with Sephiroth or Zack and no you cannot get
Tifa naked). We really received some questions about Tifa... |

Q: Final Fantasy VII doesn't
work on my system! Why?
A: Make sure your computer
is powerful enough. These are the minimum requirements according to Eidos:
Pentium 166, 32 Mb RAM, 250 Mb free hard disk space, 4-speed or higher
CD-ROM drive, Intel or 100% compatible CPU. And this is without the use
of a 3d accelerator card. But we recommend using at least a Pentium II
class CPU and a fully supported videocard. Check the Multimedia section
for drivers. Oh, and now that update this site anyway. Final Fantasy VII
doesn't run under Windows XP with your new GeForce 4 Ti4600 or Radeon 9700
Pro. Most VGA-chip makers don't realize some people want to play the old
3DFX games. See if you can buy an old Pentium III 500 with a Voodoo5 or
something.
Q: No, I have a Playstation!
A: Make sure that you're
using the correct version! An American Playstation cannot play European
or Japanese games.
Q: Any
tips on damaged discs?
A:
Try to make backups (Although we know that Sony doesn't like that). You
can also try to flip your playstation and play games while the PSX is upside
down. This may sounds strange but it really helps!
Q: Which cards are supported
for the PC version?
A: These cards are currently
supported: 3DFX Voodoo, Voodoo 2 Voodoo 3, Voodoo 4, Voodoo 5, Voodoo Rush,
3dLabs Permedia2, ATI Rage Pro, Intel i740 and Power VR Extreme. (Note
that none listed can function as well but are untested).
Q: I have the new
Nvidia Riva TNT chip on my videocard, but FFVII looks bad!
A: People who have a Riva
TNT card (Like the Diamond V550, Creative TNT or WinFast s320 etc.) can
now download a patch which let the card work with FFVII. Note that its
not glitch free. Sometimes the screen shows weird textures and breaks up,
but Nvidia is trying to get it work properly in the near future. Check
the multimedia section for drivers.

Q: Can I use your walkthrough?
(Or any other part)
A: We rather have you didn't,
but if you have to rip it, please give proper credit. |
Q:
I have seen this site somewhere else too!
A:
This site is currently on two URL's, Tripod and Sigma's. If you see this
site or any of its contents somewhere else please notify us.
Q: Some sites say they receive
about 300 emails a week. Do you guys get that amount as well?
A: The amount of email says
something about your site. If you get so much email with questions that
probably means your site is incomplete or hard to navigate. The amount
of mail is probably exaggerated as well. We receive around 3 mails a day.
Yes, even now in 2003!
Q: What
makes this site different from the others?
A:
There
are a lot of Final Fantasy VII sites out there and most of them just copied
from each other. (For example the big Final Attack error. Many sites claimed
it was at the Chocobo races) This site uses information that is tested
and proven. We played FFVII a zillion times (Both on PSX and PC) and used
our knowledge of the game on this website.
Q: Say, its like 2003 now. Are
you still alive? |
A: Yup, the site is still
running. Although we don't update it anymore, we still answer questions.
Ok, we haven't played FFVII for a while now. By the way, if you're finished
playing FFVII, try FFX or Kingdom Hearts (Although Kingdom Hearts is more
a kids game). |
