The Flying Deadman
.
I've told you the stories,
of Doug and his deer,
Of how Dean Wells partner,
was driven to fear,
Of Terry The Chair Troll,
and the Cylons misdeeds,
And even Crown Counsel,
was dragged through the weeds.
.
Now here without further,
review or delay,
I'll tell you of Cameron's,
frightening day.
It began with a call, as
they usually do,
A routine sudden death,
for a unit of two.
.
They answered the call,
up at VGH "E",
But, when they arrived,
there was no body to see.
Just a bag of effects, and
a name did await,
To lead our poor hero, on
to his fate.
.
Well, Gary decided, he just
had to look,
To get further info., to
write in his book.
So down to the morgue, they
both headed away,
Where inside the cooler,
the body did lay.
.
Upon their arrival, they
found the door locked,
So they stood and they stared,
and then finally knocked.
A Security Guard, then arrived
with a key,
To open the door for, Gary's
partner and he.
.
Into the morgue, Gary stepped
very bold,
Where the body awaited,
in the dark and the cold.
He opened the cupboard,
and found the right shelf,
This guy's very large, he
thought to himself.
.
He yanked out the tray,
with all of his might,
And what happened next,
was a hilarious sight.
The tray flew right out,
the body fell on the floor,
Slid cross the room, and
stopped by the door.
.
Well Gary turned white,
and so did the guard,
While his partner was crying,
from laughing so hard.
They packed up the fellow,
put him back in the can,
And so ends the story, of
The Flying Dead Man.
.
Now after he read this short,
little poem,
Gary composed a wee verse
of his own.
And so without any further
delay,
Here is what Gary, has decided
to say.
.
To the story above, I must
plead Not Guilty!
He rose from the dead, and
tried to attack me.
He is dead now and headed,
to places infernal,
Thank God! There is no phone
there, to call up Internal.
