Eleven Forty Six and Eighty Three Oh Eight,

Were working Sunday afternoon, time was running late.

When suddenly a call came in, to which they had to go,

They raced off to the address, to meet their unknown foe.
.

Then they had arrived at, quiet, Semlin Street,

And sprang quickly into action, these two would not be beat.

Two against a thousand, the odds they faced that day,

Until the fight was over, both of them would stay.
.

First they gathered data, about the gang they faced,

Descriptions, weapons carried, whatever could be traced.

Then they launched their first assault, standing back to tail,

Buddy jumped into the car, while McGuiggan built a jail.
.

Then Kevin moved forward boldly, into no-man's land,

It was here between the houses, he would make his stand.

But the gang he would be facing, had ideas of their own,

And proceeded with the business, of defending home "sweet" home.
.

They came in swarms about him, stabbing at his face,

With Kevin swinging blindly, wishing for some mace.

Finally he retreated, and received some quick first-aid,

Then boldly chased the gang, into the jail he made.
.

The war was finally over, between Kevin and the bees,

While truly greatful neighbours, dropped onto their knees,

Thanking Kevin and his partner, for a job well done.

But before the crowd could thank them, both of them were gone.
.

Buddy is a canine, McGuiggan, human "bean",

Which one is the smarter? If you could choose between?

My vote goes to Buddy, who waited in the car,

While Kevin was the one, who fought the honey war.
