I See, Ah Tso
.
Al Arsenault was travelling, through China in Beijing,
When he met up with a fellow there, a flat out ding-a-ling.
This guy had information, that Al might like to know,
He was also a policeman, and his name it was Ah Tso.
.
Now Al was surely curious, to what force did he belong,
Maybe serving locally, or with the boys in old Hong
Kong.
He then pulled out a wallet, badging Al for show,
But it was just a shoulder patch, held by old Ah Tso.
.
Al's eyes popped wide as saucers, at the badge that
was produced,
For he was holding one of ours, as you may have just
deduced.
Even more surprising then, was the pocket radio,
A Vancouver special portable, was possessed by old
Ah Tso.
.
It was then that Al remembered, a dispatch back at
home,
About a chinese fellow, who wore uniforms to roam.
The name of that dear fellow? As if you didn't know,
Was the same as this bright traveller, yes it was
Ah Tso.
.
Al took the name and address, where the fellow lived
right here,
Then took the patch and radio, and assorted other
gear.
He would be laying charges, which would be a telling
blow,
To one police pretender, who is known as Ah Tso.
.
But what about that portable, who knows from whence
it came?
To no one but the pooch patrol, the ones we have to
blame.
Then Al came home from holidays, with these articles
in tow,
And all he would be heard to say, "I came, I
saw, Ah Tso."
