All Is Not Lost
.
The boys were out in Gastown,
they had a job to do,
Arresting a misguided man, and
checking out the view.
Rob Feenan used his radio, to
check this rising star,
Then he very carefully, put it
on the po-lice car.
.
The wagon came to get him, and
parked just down the street,
Feenan and Kazuta, got him on
his feet.
They walked him to the wagon,
and sent him on his way,
Walked back to the unit, no reason
left to stay.
.
Except for one small detail, as
they came screeching to a stop,
The radio was missing, from its
perch right there on top.
Rob looked to his partner, much
more seasoned on this beat,
Aaron surely knew a way, to deflect
the coming heat.
.
Strange broadcasts started quickly,
the sound of laughter there,
As the crooks who had the radio,
took lots of time on air.
Kazuta really had a plan, and
he told all near and far,
"You can’t blame me for this one,
Feenan is the star".
.
Now the search has started, we
searched both high and low,
Rounding up the usual suspects,
to find that stolen radi-o.
Pete Sadler found the likeliest,
and they had a little chat,
The guy agreed, he likely knew,
just where it might be at.
.
An hour and five minutes, was
all the time it took,
One radio recovered, and now we
close this book.
Feenan or Kazuta, which one will
bear the cost,
A two-four pack for Peter, finder
of the lost.
