The Aluminum Coyote
Rides Again
.
Counter-Attack was out in
force, finding drunks in cars,
A road block down on Powell
Street, near the local bars.
Sergeant Bobby Meanley,
was the street boss of the crew,
They got a drunk out of
his car, and Bob knew what to do.
.
He climbed into the drunkard’s
car, and searched to find the keys,
Starting it, was proving
tough, as he bumped both of his knees.
He slammed the door and
turned the key, the engine would not fire,
The car was one you would
expect, would soon up and expire.
.
His luck would soon be getting
worse, as he gave up with a sigh,
He decided then, to leave
it to, the arriving tow truck guy.
But when he went to get
back out, his problem soon began,
The door refused to open,
on that four wheel garbage can.
.
He pushed, and shoved, and
tugged, on it, to try and get outside,
But, nothing that he tried
to do, would free him from inside.
The other door was also
jammed, it seems he’s truly trapped,
To get the squad’s attention,
on the window he then rapped.
.
The Aluminum Coyote, was
stuck inside the Roadrunner,
Nothing he could say or
do, to make this any funner.
Finally the wily vet, came
up with a solution,
He got the drivers window
down, and found a resolution.
.
He climbed out of the window,
with just a little aid,
And because I happened on
the scene, this is the price he paid.
Just like in the cartoons,
with Roadrunners flying feet,
Without a thing in motion,
our Coyote met defeat.
