There are many sites on the internet devoted to Tori Amos.
You can look at my links page and get an idea (there are at least 300 links
there). To her fans (called Ears With Feet or Tori-philes) she is
more than just a musician. Tori is a woman who is not afaid to unearth
the darker side of things, and explore the deeper workings of human kind.
During the span of her career she has tackled subjects like rape, masturbation,
religion, miscarriage, her seperation from a long time partner, suicide,
and even her own marriage.
My purpose for creating this site was to help demonstrate how Tori has helped people, not only through her music, but through everything else she has accomplished. Each of us have our own story about how Tori has inspired and helped us, and part of what I want to do is show people what helps and inspires Tori. Her music is full of references to mythology, the Bible, history, her own experiences and many other things that people might miss. To me, that's what makes her so special, and sets her apart from other musicians, and that's why I wanted to dedicate another page to her music and everything else that comes with it.
