Lost Wages are Lost Forever

81% of all industrial disputation in Australia was in the Vanguard of the Labor controlled states , New South Wales.

In all 121,300 days were lost in N.S.W. , this amounts to an enormous sum of money in lost wages . Wages that will be almost impossible to recoup . And who has lost all this income ?

Not the Union Bosses , they are well protected from wage losses , not the Australians with minds of their own , the Australians who can look after their families without getting involved with all sorts of undesirables who are involved with unions,   it is ordinary every day Union member who subsidises these Union Bludgers.

This could be the reason for an all time low for Union membership , the Australian Bureau of Statistics , give figures of 26% Union Membership , we would dispute this figure as being flawed. The figure would be more in line with other Industrialised Countries as being 20% the extra 6% being phantoms . This extra 6% could come from any statistic , but if the Union Election results are any thing to go by , this 6% could carry control of the Union to those who controlled the 6%.  The Federal Government should set up a statutory body to examine the validity of Union memberships.

It would also appear that the greatest drop in Union Membership , is from the younger generations . The cause for this could be several reasons .

Freedom of Association

Better education and information

Parents sharing bad experiences with Unions

Are much more articulate than the illiterates employed by Unions

Younger people are less likely to be intimidated by Union Bullies

Those aged between 15 - 19 were down from 19% to 14%

Those aged between 20 - 24 were down from 22% to 17%

The only age group to increase membership was the over 65`s these increased from 14% to 17%. , This increase could possibly be explained by a scare campaign by Unions through the fear of age discrimination.

Again we suggest that now is the time to get off this shipwreck of Trade Unionism .

If you are in a Union , you must go on strike or be victimised by the Union Hierarchies , you also lose  wages while ordinary Australians continue to earn an income to provide for their families.

till they even suck the very marrow from your bones.

In the area of Local Government , there has been a reduction of Union membership of 20% , job losses are on a larger scale , employees are being forced into "voluntary redundancies" and then re-employed 12 months later in the same job but at a lower rate of pay.

Casuals and contractors have taken over in most areas ;

with agreement of the Union .
