On December 13, 1998 at approximately 1:00am, Michael Paolucci (16) and Joshua McParland (16) were killed in a car accident. No alcohol was involved. It was just an accident. I write this page because Josh and Mike were friends of mine. I don't want them to ever be forgotten. I also don't want the accident to ever be forgotten. With their deaths, a new light should shine upon the eyes of drivers everywhere. Make sure that when you drive, you don't overcrowd your car, and that you get road reports before you go out that night. We don't want anything like this to happen again.
Somewhere in your prayers, please remember Mike and Josh. These were kids with futures. Josh had the skills to be a pro basketball star. Mike was an incredible lacrosse player, and also played basketball. The town of Orillia, Ont. has been mourning since that dreadful night.
All I ask is that you all pray for Mike and Josh, and also for their closest friends and families, that they will make it through this, and remain strong, as they have been thus far.
We'll never forget you Joshey and Pooch. You'll always be in our hearts, our thoughts, and our prayers. We understand now that you are both in a better place, one which we dream of being in.
And everyone loves you. I can't say we loved you, because we all still do.
