Where to begin? Well, my name is Tom and I was born, raised, and once again live in Presque Isle, Maine, on a small family potato farm. I am a 29 year old college graduate. I have Bachelor's Degrees in Politcal Science and Behavioral Science and an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. I attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle for all of my undergraduate work, and hope to go back to school at some point to pursue a Masters in either Anthropology or Public Administration. I am a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity , the world's biggest (and, in my humble opinion, best) college fraternal organization.Currently I work as a Police Communications Officer for the Presque Isle Police Department. In laymans terms, I sit behind a desk and answer the telephone and handle police radio traffic. But it's a good life. Cops, by-in-large are some of the best folks you could ever meet and/or work with. I recently "retired" from a job as a social worker *rolls eyes* with the Maine Department of Human Services in Child and Family Services. Retirement was a good thing, though, as my stress level has decreased by 1000% since my departure. In my two and one half years with the department I was unable to determine whether the bigger scumbags were child abusers or the lawyers who represent them.
When I am not beating my head against the wall, I enjoy hunting, fishing, reading, watching the idiot box (AKA: television), surfing around the internet, and cruising around out in the Northern Maine Woods in my GMC Truck©....
