Muftak's Library

As previously stated, your old pal Muftak writes fan fiction. And here it is! I do feel I should make some disclaimers though. 1) I am not some brilliant author who just hasn't been discovered yet. I do this for fun and to develop whatever writing skills I might have. Don't expect any Timothy Zahn or Kevin J. Anderson quality here, gentles. 2) Most of these stories are adaptions of West End Games adventures. I just created the protagonists and fleshed out the plot into story form. Don't read these if you plan on being in any of these adventures. Why adaptions, you ask? Because I was bored one day, and I liked the results enough to do it again. I will eventually put some original stuff up, but not now. Deal with it, Pink Boy. 3) The original stories are patterned after the short stories in some of the WEG sourcebooks. That is, they are very short, tell about a single event, and are mostly for background information. Keep in mind these are about three years old, and therefore some of my worst. Note to all potential MSTers: go right ahead, but send me a copy, please?

But enough of this unpleasant business. You're here to have fun, aren't you? WELL?

GREMLIN ALERT! I have a confession to make. I take to HTML like a monkey to a math problem. That's why I'm using the Tripod QuickPage. I don't need to know how to write in HTML, but, unfortunately, the QuickPage settings don't lend themselves to story writing. I've tried to go with the least offensive format here, but it doesn't always work. At the time of this writing, I've posted "The Spira Regatta" with a creative way of handling paragraphs. It's ugly, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure out what is going on. Also, please note that italics no longer function. I've tried to work around that problem as best I can. I'm sorry for any and all inconvenience. Thank you.

Soofad's SpecOps

The main characters of my fan fics are a group of Rebel Alliance Special Operations agents known as "Soofad's SpecOps." They don't really operate in any specific area or take commands from any one person (except, of course, General Cracken and Mon Mothma and the like). Basically they look for problems to fix or trouble to start. In typical SpecOp fashion, their successes are due just as much, if not more, to luck and the Force as they are to any of the SpecOps' skills. The stories take place between ANH and ESB.

On with the show!

Character profiles: Meet the SpecOps!
Lunch break/ Tour of Duty: Two stories about your second favorite Talz!
Mr. Nuthis Goes to Spira: How Croad joined the Alliance
Acquisition: Moran's dirty laundry (figuratively speaking, of course)
A Bad Day on Narmik III: About Hackra's pre-SpecOp days
Stump's Revenge: On whom, you ask? Read the story, stupid!
Soofad's SpecOps: A team for the first time!
The Spira Regatta: The SpecOps' first attempt at boat racing (don't ask).

Out you pixies go! Out the door or through the window!
