Isaac searched through the house asking an occasional person where June was. He only seemed to get lost even more. Finally, a kind person led him to the room. He knocked gently.

" Come in!" He heard June shout. He walked. He saw June was in front of the mirror. She was dressed in a tight black dress. She twirled herself around.

" What do you think?" June asked walking closer. She pulled Isaac into the room and kicked the door shut. " Do you like it?"

" Yeah." Isaac said. She brought him into her arms. The nearness of her made his head spin. " You look good."

" That's good. I bought this dress for you. I'm glad you like it." She said kissing him. Isaac kissed her back. He caressed her cheek. She smiled and kissed him again. Isaac let his finger trail down her neck slowly and towards her breast. He felt her body tense up but she didn't try to stop him. He pulled his hand back unsure if he should venture further or stop. He decided to venture further. He led her towards the bed. He gently pushed her down and sat next to her. They kissed again. His fingers traced the buttons on her dress and began unbuttoning them. She began to undo his shirt to. Isaac slipped her dress off.

" Is this ok with you?" Isaac asked. June nodded. His fingers trembled so much June had to help him undo her bra. She began to undo his pants... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

As soon as Isaac's pants hit the floor there was a loud knock on the door. June sat up. They began frantically putting their clothes on. Damn she thought. Someone had to go and ruin it. She checked her appearance in the mirror. She walked over to the door. She glanced at Isaac who was pulling his hair back into a ponytail. She opened the door.

" Where have you been? You come to my party and can't even say hello. " DJ said. He glanced at Isaac and his eyes narrowed. " Who is this?"

" Uh, DJ this is Isaac. Isaac this is DJ." June said introducing. DJ studied him for a moment. A strange look came over his face. Isaac held out his hand.

" Is this your boyfriend?" DJ asked ignoring Isaac's hand. Isaac put his hand down and glanced at June. " Whatever happened to Chad?" June cringed at the name.

" We broke up." June said. DJ's face softened but then harden when he looked at Isaac. Isaac looked at the floor. " Any ways, let's go back to the party." she grabbed Isaac's hand and with her free hand she grabbed DJ's. They walked outside. June began dancing with Isaac while DJ wandered off. She wasn't sure what had happened while she was away for the year but DJ was different. After a couple of minutes a slow song came on. Isaac pulled her into his arms and they danced.

Isaac felt a tap on his shoulder. June looked up. Isaac turned his head to see who had tapped him on the shoulder.

" Mind if I cut in?" DJ said. He pulled June away from Isaac before he could protest. June was momentarily stunned as was Isaac. Isaac stepped back away from them. He looked confused but then realized what had just occured. He stepped forward but June shook her head. He nodded and walked away.

" Mind telling me what that was about?" June asked. DJ shrugged. " Maybe you don't have to tell. It's written all over your face."

" What's that supposed to mean?" DJ demanded. June pulled herself away from him.

" You know what it means." June replied. DJ's face turned bright red.

" NO I don't." DJ said. June smiled at him. " What?" DJ asked.

" You're jeolous aren't you?" June asked. DJ laughed.

" I am not jeoulous." DJ said. June stared him in the eye.

" Sure you are." June said. DJ looked away.

" No I am not." DJ said. It seemed as if he was trying to convince himself more than he was trying to convince her. They continued to dance. " Well what if I was? What would be the big deal?" DJ said suddenly.

" Nothing." She said. DJ smiled at her. She smiled back.

" You do know that I'm after you now?" DJ said. June sighed. First with Taylor and now with DJ.

" DJ, I don't feel this way about you." June said though somehow what she just said sounded like a lie. DJ pushed her away from him.

" Yes you do. You just don't know it yet." DJ said walking away. June stood there by herself. She felt really tired and wanted to go home. She found Isaac talking to some guys. She waited patiently for them to finish their conversation and went in search of Taylor.

June couldn't sleep. DJ was not supposed to feel this way for her. They were best friends. She rolled over onto her side. Still unable to sleep she crawled out of bed. She walked over to the balcony. She stared up at the roofs she began climbing up the drain pipe that rain along the side of the house. She pulled herself up onto the roof. She sat down and stared across the lake like she had done countless years. The stars relfected off the lake making the surrounding houses look blue. She smiled. She closed her eyes and fell asleep under the stars.
