Sir Richard de Wellesley; one of the reps. sent to England by the Irish
Parliament Oct. 1429; Sheriff Co. Kildare. m by 27th Jan 1412/3 JOAN,
daughter and heiress of Sir. Nicholas de Castle Martin, of Dunsany, and heir
to her kinsman Christopher Southern, of Dangan and Mornington (originally
called Mariners' Town), Co. Meath, whereby these last two estates came to the
WELLESLEYs, and widow of Richard FitzGerald, by who she had a daughter (m.
1st Baron of Dunsany) & d. 1437, having handed his Co. Kildare lands to est. s
