When I came along this little stream,
her banks were like a beach.
Softly does her water flow,
The far side I cannot reach.
So I sit here for I'm amazed,
At the silence I have found.
As I turn from side to side,
There's no one around.
The birds are singing in harmony,
As if they are to say.
"This is our happy home,"
"This is where we play."
The clouds reflect on the clear water,
As they hide the sun so bright.
I close my eyes and feel the breeze,
As it softly blows to my right.
The leaves are falling into the stream,
They float so carelessly by.
I hear the cracking from an animal,
So near I can hear it's stride.
Low and be hold it is a dear,
It's come to get a drink.
It stops and looks straight at me,
I'm frozen, I don't even blink.
After it's thrust has been subdued,
Again it stares at me.
As if it was to say these words,
"Our streams a secret, Please."
So if your walking in the Forrest,
On a sunny day.
If you find this Little Stream,
Where life just goes on it's way.
Sit here and listen to Nature,
And you will surely find.
The peace and tranquillity of life,
That will clam the troubled mind.
