Christmas Poetry Written By The 1997-98 Class

This year, Mrs. Chagnon's Class went to work and whipped up some great haikus you might like. (Haikus have 5 sylables on the first line, 7 on the second, and 5 on the third line). However, one student did something better. He wrote a full poem as seen as the first one listed below.

"Christmas Rules"
by Justin Gilbert
Christmas ias for kids,
You have to buy us presents,
Have to keep them hid,
We will try to find them all,
Just like Johnny did,
If we find them we will cry,
Because Santa knows,
When we wake up in the morning,
All we'd find is coal.
