These three corner shelves connect the two wall cabinets. They are made with 3/4-inch birch plywood, finished on both sides. We put a strip of screen molding on the front edge to give it a finished look. Each shelf and all the braces were stained and then protected with two coats of glossy polyurethane. Due to the shape and placement of the shelves, the braces had to be put in place one set at a time and then the shelf set in place. You can see the light almond colored tile board fairly well in this picture.
