This is an overview picture of Doris's Workshop, tucked into a corner of our garage. The workbench with the sink in it is hand-made. Derek, our son-in-law, helped build it during a visit to the beach in January One of our biggest problems to overcome was getting the pre-built base cabinet and the hand-made cabinet adjusted to the the same height and level. The top of the bench is made of 3/4-inch plywood, finished on just one side. It has about 8 coats of polyurethane over the natural wood veneer. I added the clear-wood backsplash to finish the job. The exposed end of the workbench is 1/4-inch peg board so Doris can hang her gardening tools on it.
