Nothing about Stan's party was intended to be a secret but Alice Marie, Stan's cousin, had other plans. She and husband, Lee, knocked on our door at around noon on Sunday. I've never seen Stan more surprised... and pleased.



Friends began to gather at about 6:30 pm, in the Ellery Room at the Village Country Club.
