The Wedding of Carol and John Witzell

Carol is a dear friend of mine -- we work at the School of Medicine Library together. She met John through her sister; theirs started out as an Internet romance, but luckily for them John lives in Columbia, so they didn't have to wait as long to meet as Tim and I did.
Here is how the wedding went:
Carol walks down the aisle with her niece, Kati, who was the flower girl. Unfortunately, we forgot to tell Kati she was supposed to throw the flowers in front of Carol, and she pelted the guests with baby's breath as they walked down the aisle! ;)
The newly married couple walk down the aisle!
Carol and John as they walked to the reception. As you can see, it was a beautiful day -- just a wee bit to hot outside. Well, it was South Carolina in August!
Awaiting the couple and their guests was this beautiful (and delicious!) cake, as well as lots of other yummy munchies. And since it was so hot, the punch was very popular!
The bride and groom cutting the cake. That's Kati beside Carol -- she's so shy, isn't she? ;) I'm afraid I didn't get pictures of the couple taking their first bites as a married couple, because I ran out of film at the last minute. I hate it when that happens!
No explanation is needed here, I think!
Carol's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Seay, with Carol and John, and, in front, Carol & John's niece Kati and nephew Andy.
Here's Andy, the shy ringbearer, dissembling the ring pillow! :)
One last smile from that shy, inhibited flower girl.
