Sweet Savannah Wingo Antley-Hearn

I adopted Sweet Savannah Wingo in July of 1989. Her birthday was June 4th; she came from a fairly large litter (for miniature schnauzers, that is); she had ?? littermates (she was one of two females). Here she is with her siblings (Miss Wingo is wearing the ribbon): And here she is with her proud mama: At the time, Miss Wingo and I lived in a garage apartment; from the time she was really tiny she could go up the stairs (she s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out her little body and could just reach the step above and pull herself up) but she couldn't go down the steps; when I was downstairs she'd stand at the top and bark at me until I came and got her. I had a bed for her in a little box (I couldn't afford a crate at the time) until one day I came home from work and she bounced over to greet me; wonderful as it was to be greeted, she could REALLY do some damage to my place while I was gone! So a crate made its way into our home the next night; Savannah's little sister Christabel is now using it. This page last updated 14 July 2004.
