Light is Sown for the Righteous...

Rabbi Judah son if Simon said,
"With the light created by G-d on the first day,
Adam could gaze and see from one end of the
universe to the other. Since G-d foresaw the
corrupt deeds of the generation of Enosh and the
generation of the Flood, He hid the light from them.
Where did He hide it? In the Garden of Eden for the
righteous, as it is written:' Light is sown for the
righteous.'"

The Baal Shem Tov tells us, "With the light of the six days of creation, one could see from one end of the universe to the other. Where did G-d hide it ? In the Torah. Whoever attains the light hidden in the Torah can see from one end of the world to the other."
Lack of Torah is light with-held.
