"The Full Story Finally Revealed"

A Sailor Moon Fan-Fic

Exhausted from their victory against the evil Lord Aquamarine, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Tuxedo Mask regroup to catch their breath and to make sure everyone is all right.

"I'm sure glad that's over!" says Sailor Moon.

"Me too!" replies Mars.

"Boy, am I drained," says Jupiter.

"Yes, me too," replies Mercury.

"Are you all right honey?" Sailor Moon asks Tuxedo Mask as she cuddles up to him, as usual. "That hit you took for me looked pretty hard, by the way it knocked you down."

"Yes," he replies quietly. "But I have no doubt that there will be bruises in the morning." he says with a quiet laugh.

"Excuse me," says Mars, "but I feel a strange force nearby."

"Really?" replies Sailor Moon, "Can you tell if it's . . ."

"If it's what?" asks Mars.

Sailor Moon says nothing, but backs up into Tuxedo Mask's arms. Her eyes are as big as saucers. She is quickly joined by Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus. Their eyes are also opened wide. Mars slowly turns her back to the others, and slowly backs up to Mercury's side. About fifty feet away is a patch of glowing fog. Tuxedo Mask uses the arm not holding Sailor Moon to get a rose ready to attack. The girls, except for Sailor Moon, also get ready to attack. Suddenly, a man appears out of the fog. He is dressed in a white tuxedo. He doesn't have a mask, but he does have on a white top hat, a white rose in his lapel, a cane exactly like Tuxedo Mask's, only pure silver, and a white cape almost twice as long as Tuxedo Mask's. He is about six foot two and has white shoes. At first, Sailor Moon is transfixed. Then, by reflex, she attacks him with her tiara.

"Moon Tiara MAGIC!" she shouts.

It works at first. Actually, it almost made it to him, but then falls dead at his feet. He goes and picks it up. Then he speaks.

"Forgive me Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask. I am not an enemy, but a great ally. I am Bartholomew. I am the creator of the powerful Imperium Crystals, one of which is the Imperium Silver Crystal. I am the creator of the Power Sticks. I am also the creator of the rose that allows you to transform into Tuxedo Mask. I have come to give Sailor Moon two gifts. But I have mainly come to see Tuxedo Mask."

"Me?" Tuxedo Mask replies.

"Yes. First I would like to give my two gifts to Princess Serena."

"You know about that?" Sailor Moon asks.

"Yes. I know everything about all the Sailor Senshi."

"You mean that there are more Sailor Senshi beside the inner and outers?" asks Mercury.

"Well, sort of. You see, you are not immortal like I am. Excuse me, two of you will become immortal. Unfortunately, the rest of you, including the outers, slowly grow old and eventually cannot fulfill your Sailor duties. So you pass the Power Sticks to your oldest daughter. And when they get too old, they pass the Power Sticks to their oldest daughter. The cycle repeats until the end of time. Anyway, my gifts. Sailor Moon, my first gift to you is the return of your tiara magic power. You shall need it in future battles. My second gift is far greater, at least in my opinion. Do you remember when Rini was visiting you and found a friend, Melissa, at school? Then Gloom and Doom attacked you and injured Melissa. Then Rini got really mad and became extremely powerful. It's called her energy amplification power."

"Yes," she replies.

"Well, she inherited that from you. Do you know where you get it from?"

"No," she answers.

"You get that gift right now," and with that, he places his hand on her forehead for one second. When he removes his hand, her crescent moon insignia is radiating brightly. So brightly, that the others have to turn away. Then, after a few seconds, it returns to normal.

"Here," he says as he hands her the tiara.

"Thank you," she says.

"Now, I want you Senshi to go home and get some rest." Then, with a wave of his hand, the Senshi disappear.

"Where did they go?" Tuxedo Mask demands, ready to attack again.

"Relax Darien. I sent them to their homes. Now, how's that injury of yours? Does it bother you?"

"Just a little bit." Bartholomew waves his arm. "Hey! It feels better!"

"I know. Now, down to business." He snaps his fingers and they are instantly transported to a dark room with a few seats and a big, white screen, just like a movie theater.

"Where . . . where are we?" Tuxedo Mask asks.

"We are in the room of my house that I like to call the 'Screening Room of Life'. This is the room where I can view anything I want. I brought you here to help illustrate the story I am about to tell you. This story will help you in the future. I cannot tell you when it will come in handy, but take my word for it. It will help you greatly." Then with a snap of his fingers, popcorn and Cherry 7-up appears in front of Tuxedo Mask, who has transformed into Darien.

"Awesome!" Darien exclaims.

"Yes, it is. Now, the story begins," and with that, images start to flicker onto the screen. "I know that you remember the last battle of the moon kingdom, but this story takes place a few years before that. Before you and Princess Serena could be lovers, you had to become close friends. Unfortunately, before you could become close friends, a tragedy hat to occur. Of course it involved the Negaverse, not Queen Beryl, but her mother. Queen Topaz. Topaz had a few of her henchmen kidnap newborn Princess Serena. They were on their way to the palace of the King and Queen of the Earth, your parents. They were going to kill her and you and frame your parents and start a war between the Moon Kingdom, Earth, and the other planetary kingdoms. Fortunately, the personal guardian of your family, the Sailor Scout of the Earth, better known as Sailor Earth, was able to stop them. You see, Sailor Earth was Queen Serenity's only sister. She was the strongest, fastest, and all around best of the Sailor Senshi, and the keeper of the Imperium Golden Crystal, the second most powerful crystal of the five Imperium Crystals."

"Five?!" Darien exclaims in surprise.

"Yes, five. They are, in order of power, the Imperium Hyper Crystal, the Imperium Golden Crystal, the Imperium Silver Crystal, the Imperium Bronze Crystal, and the Imperium Copper Crystal. The Imperium Bronze Crystal is in the Key of Time of Sailor Pluto. The Copper Crystal is in the Moon Crystal Key that Rini used to go to the past. The Silver Crystal belongs to Sailor Moon. The Hyper Crystal is in my safekeeping. It is far too powerful for common use. It is only to be used in great emergencies, and it can only be used by the pure in heart. They also must be direct descendants of you and Princess Serena.

Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way, with the very first Sailor Scout, the Sailor of the Sun. Sailor Solara. She was almost pure in heart, but not quite. The first time she used it was her last. The saying, 'Power corrupts', came from the use of the Hyper Crystal. When she transformed, her soul and physical body instantly corrupted. Only her spirit and the evil inside her was all that remained of her. She could appear as anything her dark mind wanted. It took almost all of my strength to defeat her and to retrieve the Hyper Crystal. Even then, I wasn't strong enough to defeat her. I was too weak from the battle. I was only able to banish her from this realm. She then started and became what you now know as the Negaverse.

Now, I tell you this to help you prepare Rini, because she is going to be the first of your bloodline to use the Hyper Crystal. She, with yours, Sailor Moon's, and the other Sailor Scout's help, defeat Solara and start the short age of Perfect Peace. I say short age because all of you aren't able to destroy Solara. There is one more thing that I shall tell your about you future at this time, for there shall be plenty of other times for us to meet. I will tell you this: You and Serena are the two who become immortal. Do not tell Serena yet, or anyone else for that matter.

Now, back to the story. Sadly, Sailor Earth was killed saving Princess Serena and you. When she was killed, the Sailor power of the Earth and the Imperium Golden Crystal were lost from this realm, indefinitely. Now, Serena was alone. An old woman emerged from the shadows. She saw the whole thing. She quickly picked up baby Serena and fled into the woods. She raised her the best she knew how. By the time she was six, she was a skilled cat burglar. She had excellent agility, dexterity, flexibility, grace, and was an all around good athlete.

It was about this time that the old woman found out that she was royalty. But she was so old she couldn't even speak. She died not long after leaving Serena all alone, but her name was now Jessica. What Jessica didn't know was that the old woman gave her will to your mother, the Queen of the Earth.

The old woman left everything to Jessica. The only problem was that no one could find her. Until one night, she tried something very risky, almost dangerous. She tried to break into the palace. She only made it to the garden. Your garden. Your rose garden. You were very protective of your garden. If anyone went in it without your permission, you had him or her arrested. One of Jessica's few weaknesses was roses. As soon as she saw your massive garden, she felt like in heaven. After walking around in it for a while, she curled up and fell asleep near the most beautiful rose bush in the garden, which happened to be you most prized rose bush. That was where you found her in the morning, still asleep. You couldn't decide what to do. So you called for your mother and father. When they came, they instantly took her and carried her off, kicking and screaming in a panic. You never saw her again until a few months later, at her coronation. That was the day that sealed the link between Serena and Japan, mainly Tokyo, and the link between you and Princess Serena, forever.

You felt so guilt about giving her such a panic, you clipped off a rose off of you prized rose bush to give to her at the dinner, in her honor, the night after the coronation. When it was your family's turn to honor her, and after your parents gave her their gifts, you went up, as ten-year-old Prince Darien, and presented her with the rose. She was so honored and touched, for she knew all to well how you felt about your prized roses, that seven-year-old Queen Jessica's, Queen of all Japan, first royal act was to make you a special member of her Royal Guard. She felt safe near you. She trusted you with all your heart, her pure heart. You were a special member because she was to have you presence at all times, whenever possible, when you were in Japan or when she visited you in North America, present day U.S.A. From that day on, Queen Jessica was never seen without a rose.

Time went by and you and Jessica matured quite a bit. You had you parents construct a palace next to Queen Jessica's palace and she had one constructed next to yours, even though she hardly used it. With her being a queen, it was very difficult for her to take vacations. As you matured, you became quite the ladies man, and as Jessica matured, she became as beautiful as ever. Since she couldn't visit you too often, you visited Japan as often as possible. Good thing for her too, for if you didn't, she would have been dead, because there were a few attempts on her life. The strange part was that no one knew who was behind it all. Finally came the summer that changed everything, for you and Jessica.

You were 17 and Jessica was 14. Your palace in North America was being remodeled and your parents, being King and Queen of the Earth, had to give a huge ball for some very special guests. The entire remaining Sailor Court and Queen Serenity. Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Saturn, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune were going to be there. Even Sailor Pluto, the guardian of the Gate of Time was going to make an appearance. Your parents decided that it would be best to have the ball at your palace in Japan. You had the opportunity to meet a few of the Senshi before, but now you would have a chance to meet all of them. You heard that they were coming to look for the long lost eldest and only daughter of Queen Serenity and heir to the Moon Throne, Princess Serena. You had seen Queen Serenity before, at your parents' palace. You had also heard that the Senshi were very interested in Princess Jessica, since she had no known last name, no known parents, and since she was approximately the age that Princess Serena would be.

The big night came. You were at Jessica's side the whole night. It helped that your parents made Jessica their special guest of honor, at the personal request of Queen Serenity. The first guest to arrive was Sailor Mercury, whom was always rumored to be very punctual. You had the chance to have her as a personal tutor and as a good friend. You decide to introduce her to Jessica and try to get some information.

You walk over to her, bow you head, and kiss her glove. Then you introduce Jessica, who curtsied. Then Mercury curtsied in return. Then you and Jessica start to show Mercury to her seat. As you lead her, you ask her why she's so early. She tells you that she's making sure that everything is all right for Queen Serenity. Before she sits, she gives Jessica a long look over, then she sits. As you and Jessica walk away, she activates her computer and starts typing away, frequently looking a Jessica. Then, after a few minutes, then she deactivates her computer and pulls, from her boot, a good book to read.

Next was Sailor Mars. You met her before, at dinner your parents gave in her honor. You didn't like her because she was always so impatient. Sailor Venus was next. She had her faithful guardian with her. A white cat, with a crescent moon insignia on his forehead. You knew that a crescent moon meant high honor in the Moon Kingdom. The Scout that you disliked the most was the next to arrive, Sailor Uranus. You disliked her because she was a lesbian. Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Saturn arrived together, talking about important issues.

A few minutes later, Neptune entered and took her seat. Then the normal guests arrived, mainly rulers and millionaires. Then Sailor Pluto appeared out of nowhere. Then Luna, the black cat with the crescent moon insignia and personal advisor to Queen Serenity, entered and announced the arrival of Queen Serenity. All of the Sailor Senshi stood and curtsied while you and Jessica rushed to take your place next to your parents.

All the women curtsied and all the men bowed. Then She entered. Queen Serenity was dressed in a stunning white gown. Her shiny, white hair was parted down the middle and done up into two balls, one on each side, and from each ball, a long pony tail that almost touched the floor. Once she sat down, everything returned to normal. What a night! You danced the night away with Jessica. When it was time to go, you walked her to her palace and kissed her goodnight. When you got home, you decided to look at the stars from your balcony.

While you were looking, you saw a shadow moving at Jessica's palace. Then it drops to the ground. In the light of the full moon, you can see beautiful, flowing, long hair. You know that it's Jessica. She suddenly sprints to the forest. You decide to follow. You almost lose her. When you catch up, you find her in a clearing, but in that clearing is a beautiful rose garden.

"Oh! Good grief, Darien, you startled me!" she exclaimed.

"Forgive me," you reply.

She tells you how the rose you first gave her had seeds in it and she planted those seeds and that is how the garden got started. You're amazed. The roses are much more beautiful than yours. Then you hear a twig snap behind you. In one swift movement, you turn around and have you sword drawn, ready to attack.

"Forgive us, Prince Darien," Sailor Mercury says. She was with Sailor Neptune, Sailor Venus, Artimis the white cat, Luna, and Sailor Jupiter. "But," Mercury continues, "we must speak with Queen Jessica, alone."

"Very well. Good night." With that you kiss Jessica's hand, then each of the Sailor Scout's gloves. Then you start to walk away, but only to hide behind a tree. Unfortunately, you are too far away to hear what is being said, but you see them conversing. While they talk, Sailor Neptune does Jessica's hair up like Queen Serenity's. When she is finished, Luna and Artimis look at each other. Then Luna sits in front of Jessica. Then, all of the sudden, a bright beam shoots from Luna's crescent moon to Jessica's forehead. You begin to worry and start to emerge from your hiding spot, when, suddenly, there is a bright flash. You then see on Jessica's forehead, a shining golden crescent moon.

"She's the one!" Mercury shouts. "Let's take her to the Queen!" The all form a ring round her.

"JESSICA!" you shout.

She turns her head. You've seen the look in her eyes before. That night, in your rose garden. Shear terror. In an instant she is gone and you are pushed into a tree and knocked out by a powerful shock wave. When you come to, you are still in the forest. It's daylight and you hear someone calling your name. By the sun's position, you decide that it's almost noon.

"I'm over here," you shout as you rub the bump on the back of your head. Into the clearing enters Sailor Mars.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you all morning. Your parents have been worried sick. More importantly, Princess Serena wants to see you, right away!"

"Sorry. I guess I fell and hit my head. Who wants to see me?"

"Princess Serena."

"Whose that?"

"I don't have the time to explain. Here, take my hand." You do. "Mars teleport!" she says.

Instantly you are transported to a massive room. On one end of the room are two thrones. Behind the thrones is a massive golden crescent moon. Sitting on the thrones are Queen Serenity and Queen Jessica, who is dressed like Queen Serenity.

"I'll go tell your parents that you are all right," Mars whispers in you ear. A second later she teleports out of the room. You approach the thrones. And bow on one knee in front of the two queens.

"Greetings, I've come to speak to Princess Serena," you say, still on one knee. You stand up. Queen Jessica replies.

"You already are, Prince Darien," she says.

"What do you mean?"

"I am Princess Serena," she answers.

"She is my long lost daughter, who was kidnapped more than 14 years ago," says Queen Serenity. "She has told me a lot about you, Prince Darien. You seemed to have won her trust. She has made the request, of which I greatly approve of, that you, if your parents consent and if you wish, consent and if you wish, of her royal guard. This means that you shall be at her side at all times whenever she is abroad, or if there is a big event here, at the moon. Do you accept?"

"Yes, I do," you answer.

"Good," Serenity says. "All that remains is for Mars to return with the answer of her parents. My daughter wishes to talk to you, alone. Why don't the two of you go for a little walk. I'll summon you when Mars returns."

"Thank you, your majesty," you reply with a stiff bow.

With that, Serena jumps up, quickly goes to your side, and offers her arm for you to take. You lock your arm with hers and allow her to lead. After she says goodbye to her mother, she leads you outside and to the royal garden. She then has a seat at the fountain in the middle of the garden. You have a seat as well.

"You have no idea what this means to me," she begins. "Being Princess Serena changes everything. I really need a close friend to get me through this. I am very glad that you will be that friend," she says looking you in the eyes. In her eyes, you can see the fatigue she is feeling.

"The honor is all mine, your majesty," you say.

"Please, don't call me that. I'm not quite ready for that. Please call me Serena. In fact, I make it an order of the Moon Kingdom that, until further notice, you call me Serena," she said with a totally serious look.

"As you wish, Serena," you say. "Now that you are the princess of the Moon, what will happen to your kingdom of Japan?"

"I'm glad you asked. My mother and I have been talking about that, and we believe that since I am of Lunar Royalty, I should stay on the Moon as much as possible. We believe that Queen Beryl shall try to finish what her mother started and try to kill me and, perhaps, even you. Being in Japan would make it easier for Beryl to get at me and harder for the Sailor Senshi, and you, to protect me. Being on the Moon would do just the opposite. Mother would prefer it if I gave the throne to one of our advisors, but the only one I trust so far is Luna, and it would be kind of weird for a cat, let alone a talking cat, to rule a kingdom. Since I have agreed to stay on the Moon, mother has consented to allow me to remain Queen of Japan. My Grand Visor will rule while I am at the Moon. I will only return to Japan if needed. Tonight, at 7:00, is when I will give my speech to Japan. I want you at my side. Will you be there?"

"You needn't ask. Of course I'll be there."

"Great!" she says happily and gives you a quick kiss on you cheek.

A moment later, a girl with blue hair enter the garden and calls for the two of you. She leads the way back to the palace. You can see that she is carrying a long, narrow, golden box.

"Who is that?" you whisper in Serena's ear.

"That's Ami, princess of Mercury and also Sailor Mercury," she whispers back.

"You mean Sailor Mercury is a princess?"

"They all are."

"Will you be a Sailor?"

"Eventually."

Once inside, Serena took her seat next to her mother and Ami stood on the other side of Serenity.

"Darien, kneel before me," instructs Serenity. You obey. "Your parents have consented," she announces as she pulls out a sword. "I, Queen Serenity, keeper of the Imperium Silver Crystal and the Queen of the Moon Kingdom, hereby knight you, Prince Darien of Earth, to be a knight of the Moon Kingdom and the soul guardian of my daughter, Princess Serena. You may stand now."

When you did, Serena jumped up and kissed you, on the lips this time, making you turn red.

"I can never thank you enough," she says.

"Nor can I. You are a true, loyal friend. No wonder why my daughter favors you so highly. Serena, perhaps you should go work on you speech for this evening. I must talk to Darien alone."

"As you wish," Serena says as she walk out.

"Ami, will you give me my box and leave us?"

She hands Queen Serenity the box and walks out, calling after Serena.

"Now, Darien," the Queen says as she opens the box, " this was given to me by someone. The person said that I would know who to give this to. I now know that it goes to you." She pulls out a crystal, red rose and hands it to him. "This will give you new powers, something like a Sailor Senshi. It will activate automatically, when you are need to defend my daughter or any of the Sailor Senshi. This also give you the power of teleportation. Just think of a place, say the word 'teleport', and then you will be there."

"Thank you, your majesty," you say.

"No, thank you for being such a good friend to my daughter and making sure she was raised properly. Now, your job begins at 6:00 tonight, one hour before my daughter's speech. You now have a room at the Moon Palace. The room to the left of Serena's room. I assume she showed you where her room was?"

"Yes, she did."

"Good. You may name your wage for this, as long as its reasonable, and you have till six to move stuff from Earth to the Moon. Goodbye." Then, with a flash, you are suddenly in your room in the Earth Palace.

By the time you master teleportation, finish moving stuff, and after you said goodbye to your parents, it is six. You teleport to the Moon and report to Queen Serenity. You spend six to seven with Serena while the Sailor Senshi do some last minute training.

At seven, you all teleport to Japan. Halfway through her speech, two nega-monsters suddenly appear and lunge for Serena. The Senshi went after one and left you to go after the other. You were amazed at how effective the roses that you threw were against the monster. You defeated it in a matter of minutes.

Although shaken, Serena was able to finish her speech. As it turns out, Molly was the Grand Visor. A few months later, Beryl attacked the Moon Kingdom and the rest, as they say, is history. Thus ends the story. Farewell, Darien."

The next thing Darien remembers is waking up. Had it not been for the long, narrow, gold box next to the alarm clock, he would have brushed it off as a dream.
