Oh, I remember Paulton. "Just Call Me Paul" went over big. They were all wearing their Paul shirts. Anyone named Paul got in free. Some crazy kid showed up with the word 'Paul' tatooed across his chest. They let him backstage. Paulton was the first real concert, I think. I had this weird light-headed feeling all night. Of course, though, that could have been the pot smoking fans lighting up. There's always some of them at every concert. I wonder if they even remember who they went to see that night. They sang "Just Call Me Paul" I think... 5 times. They were chanting "Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul." It was wild. Then Melissa started stage diving. I thought, "She must be bloody insane," but she explained that we were too new of a band for anybody to want to kill us yet. She may be right. They really started rocking when the band launched into um... "CBH 101" I think it was. You know, the really long song. It was fun. They sold a lot of Paul shirts that night. And special shirts that said "Just Call Me Paulton." Good God. Some censorship committee tried to give them Parental Advisory stickers, but they don't say enough horribly bad words to get them. "Satan's Song" is a little, but besides that... forget about it. They're pratically clean. Of course, I bet KMart would censor them. But that's just how they are. You know, that's life in the music business. Always someone trying to censor you.
