Jacque has taken the series 'Sandman' and cossed it with the 'X-Men' to create a well written work. In Perchanse to Dream Gambit completes a mission for Morpheus and reqests a small favour in return. The favour amuses Morpheus and the two become friends. In Degree of Insanity Morpheus finds himself in danger and his younger sister comes looking for Gambit for help. When Gambit completes this second task Delirium gives him a gift that will be useful to him in coming days. In The Sound of Wings Gambit puts to use the gift Delirium has bestowed on him as he saves the X-Men from doom, but is the price too high and will anyone ever understand? In Nothing by Chance the X-Men strugle to descover the truth of what happened in their battle with the Marauders. Psylocke catches a glimpse in part one: Maddening Shadows but can she put the pieces together? This story Arc is unfinished.
