I was a smoker for 27 years. I quit when my son was born. Now, seventeen years later I am in the early stages of emphysema, and it is getting worse. The price we pay for foolishness. If you smoke, quit. Don't give up! Keep quitting, everyday if you must. You will succeed! If you don't smoke, don't start! I started at age ten, my son's age, before my lungs were even fully developed. I'm starting to pay the price for that now. You are not indestructible. It just takes time to get you.
