Valentine's Day
In researching the actual meaning of Valentine's Day and it's origin, I cannot conclude the true origins. There are several different ones listed in the various reference materials I have used and on the WEB I found many other concepts listed. Herein you will find the origin I found referenced more frequently than others, also some amusing facts and funnies.
There are a few cute graphics you can send for Valentine's Cards and some gifs of beautiful roses, flowers, bears, balloons, and candy to send.
Also buried in these pages are a couple of amature animations I made and some I found on my web travels. There are two Valentine's screensavers you can download to dress your monitor up for Valentine's Day. None are copyrighted to my knowledge, should you find any that are, please email me so I may remove them.
A Funny
As Valentine's Day was approaching, a teacher asked her six year old students if they could help her make a list of Valentine's Day words. The students came up with all of the usuals (candy, hearts, love, etc...). They were doing a super job. After reviewing the list, the teacher noticed that the word "cupid" had not been mentioned. When she asked her students if anyone knew what a cupid was. One darling little fellow raised his hand and said, "I know! I know! My Mommy cleans my ears with them."
Aren't kids great?!!
