Trevor and I "met" Father's Day weekend of 1997 through our then mutual friend, Lori. Lori and I had been friends since the beginning of high school. Lori and Trevor met online in a chat room and kept in touch whenever they could. Lori had told me about him and even showed me a picture of him, but to be honest I didn't really pay that close attention to it. :)

Lori was at my house Father's Day weekend and Trevor happened to be online, so Lori "introduced" us. Well, we quickly became fast friends and kept in touch as much as possible. I remember Fourth of July weekend, we stayed online chatting until about 4 AM, and I had to be up at about 8 AM to make the 3+ hour drive to my grandparents'. I was slightly worried about being able to get up on my own in the morning (saying I am not a morning person is an understatement), so Trevor said he'd give me a wake-up call. He did, and he was right on time! I remember that was our first phone conversation, and that was when I found out what an incredible singing voice he has. We talked for quite a while, and ever since then have been racking up the phone bills (just ask our parents...on second thought, DON'T)!!!
