The next night, at dinner, they prayed and Isaac, Taylor, &
Zac sang, "Amen".
So Beth, Kate, & Kristin decided to do their own little chant.
"Vitty, vitty, vit, voom, voom, hoi!" The girls sang.
"What was that?" asked Zac.
"I have no clue!" Taylor answered.
"Vitty, vitty, vit, voom, ow!" Zac was saying mockingly, but
was interupted when Beth kicked him under the table. After dinner, the girls were really hyper,
especially Beth. "Aren't these the ugliest shoes you've ever seen?"
Beth asked as she showed everyone her shoes which were brown to army
green high tops, with pea green patten over the toes, at the heal,
and around the ankle. "Yeah!" said Taylor. "Hey, I think they're
sweet!" exclaimed Zac. "Zac, you like everything ugly!" exclaimed
Isaac. "I guess that's why I like you then huh?" Zac asked teasingly
to Isaac. "Ooh that was harsh!" Hristin said sarcastically. "Zac,
you'd make a cute girl." Beth said. "I know," Zac said. "Tay, you'd
make a pretty cute girl too," said Kate. "You would make a cute girl
too," Taylor shot back. "Thanks, I am a girl." said Kate. "And I'm a
boy. Oh, wait, I am a boy." Isaac said sarcastically. "You are?" Beth
asked stupidly. "Oh, go run around the house!" Isaac said, jokingly.
"Ok," Beth said as she walked outside and started running around the
house. She was half way through her third lap when Taylor's friend,
Ashleigh, walked up the drive way. "What are you doing?" he asked
Beth. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm running around the
house!" Beth replied, not even bothering to stop running. "Why?"
Ashleigh asked. "Because Isaac told me too," Beth said matter of
factly. "O-k," Ashleigh replied slowly as he turned around and went
back home. Beth came back inside to find Mackenzie crying. "Mackie,
what's wrong?" Beth asked. "Nobody will watch Mary Poppins with me!"
he replied crying. "Oh, I'll watch it with you." said Beth.
It was 9:45 pm when Mary Poppins ended. Beth heard someone in the
bathroom, so she got up, re-winded the movie, and noticed that
Mackenzie was asleep. She picked him up and carried him halfway down
the hallway when Taylor came out of the bathroom. "Oh, I'll take him
to his room," Taylor offered, holding out his hands as Beth handed
the sleeping 3 year old to him. "Goodnight," Taylor said. "Yeah,"
Beth responded as she went into her room.
