Chapter 37

After dinner averyone watched a movie. Well, everyone between the ages of 10 and 20. Taylor was sitting on the love seat. Isaac was sitting in the recliner. Kristin, Kate, & Zac were sitting on the couch. When Beth walked into the room, she looked around, then sat on the floor. "Beth, there's a seat on the couch next to Taylor," Kate suggested. "Well, the floor felt left out. Nobody was sitting on it," Beth said. "Beth, the furniture doesn't have feelings," Zac said gently. "Sure it does!" Beth exclaimed. After the movie everyone went to their rooms. "I don't get girls," Taylor complained. "What do you mean?" Zac asked slightly confussed. "I mean, today up in the treehouse, (A.N. I lost track of time! If they didn't kiss today, let's just say this is a flashback to that day!), when I kissed Beth, I thought she would come with me." Taylor said as Isaac's and Zac's eyed widened. "Woah, woah, woah, back up! You kissed BETH?" Isaac asked. "Yeah," Taylor said. "Beth McGraw? The Beth McGraw that lives in the room down the hall?" Isaac asked. "Yeah, is that bad?" Taylor asked. "Um, yeah, unless you're going out." Isaac stated. "Which you're not, right?" Zac asked. "Well," Taylor said in a weird voice. "Uh, I can't beleive this! My little brother has a girlfriend before I do!" Isaac exclaimed sarcastically. "No wonder Beth wasn't acting like herself tonight! And why she sat on the floor!" Zac exclaimed, putting two and two together.

The next day at breakfast, while everyone was eating, Diana said to Beth, "So, I hear you and Taylor are going out." "No, no, no, we're just friends. Tell her Tay, we're just friends." Beth said. Taylor got up, put his plate in the sink, then answered. "Beth, you're in denial." "What do you mean, I'm in denial! I'm NOT in denial!" Beth yelled. "Beth, I think you're in denial. You told us last night that you and Tay were going out." Kristin said. Beth's jaw dropped and her eyes got wide. "What! You must have hearing problems! I NEVER SAID THAT!" Beth screamed, getting madder by the second. "Yep, she's in denial." Zac agreed. "I am not in denial!" Beth said, getting anoyed. "Look, you're denying being in denial." Isaac said. "So, that doesn't mean I'm in denial!" Beth exclaimed. "You rwetard, just admit you're in denial." "Mackie, you're only 3, how do you know that word?" Beth asked. "Hey, I may be 3, but I'm smart for my age." Mackie said, very logically, as everyone started laughing.
