Mom Jane told us all about her baby, Nick!
Mom: Nick was and is a very imaginative child. At an early age, even as early as infancy, he had an unusually natural relationship with the camera. He was always hamming it up when he knew the attention was focused on him. Also, he was pretty mischievous.
Superteen: When did you realize how talented Nick was?
Mom: I realized Nick was meant to be a vocalist when he was nine years old. He was standing on a tree stump in the backyard and singing to an audience of blades of grass. I knew then he had to entertain
Superteen: What's the worst thing Nick ever did?
Mom: The worst thing Nick ever did was at age two. We lived upstairs from our business at the time, which was a restaurant lounge with an arcade room off to the side. I was busy cleaning the apartment when I went to check on Nick and he was nowhere to be found! I ran downstairs upset and searching until I found him playing video games in the arcade, happily being fed quarters by two female customers!
Superteen: What about Nick and dating?
Mom: Nick only started to have casual dates a couple of years ago. He has known a lot of girls that were involved in entertainment like himself, but has only had phone acquaintances with most. As far as my approving, Nick has never liked anyone that I didn't like. It wasn't planned that way, I didn't encourage him one way or the other. I think he;s smart enough to pick them himself, the ones he likes.
Mom Ann described her baby boy to us.
Mom: Kevin was a happy, pleasant baby. As a wandering toddler he was always with his best and running away with his best friend" Pixie". Shy in his preschool years, he made up for it is Kindergarten by recieving the "Standing in the Corner Award." In first grade he became best talker and received the "Spanking Medal." He was a lover and a fighter and brought suck joy to our home.
Superteen: What did Kevin like to do as a kid?
Mom: Kevin spent his time doing the thigs he loved. Practicing football after school, keeping up with homework, involved in drama. His weekends were filled with footbal games, dances and spending time with friends. He always managed to find time for his music. I don't know how he managed his time as well as he did!
Superteen: Did you ever have fights, and what were they about?
Mom: Getting him up for school in the mornings!
Mom Jackie came clean about her son!
Superteen: What kind of a child was Brian?
Mom: Brian was quite serious as a baby. However as he grew, he became my "Laughter Child"----very light-hearted and constantly making me smile at his unique sense of humor.
Superteen: What's the funniest thing he ever did?
Mom: Brian has done so many funny things, it's hard to choose one; however, I specifically recall his antics in imitating Donald Duck! he still does them!
Superteen: What's the scariest thing that ever happened to him?
Mom: Brian almost died when he was five years old from a heart infection, which he really had no control over. But he has given so much of himslef to his family and others that if he had left this world at such a young age, it would have been the worst thing!
Mom Denise describes her son.
Mom: A.J. was always very full of energy. Everyone would say if we could bottle it, we'd make a fortune! He never stopped chattering or moving. Especially when there was music playing on the radio or TV. Even before he could talk, A.J. would smile and jiggle when music played on the radio.
Superteen: What did A.J. like to do as a child?
Mom: A.J spent a lot of spare time enjoying singing along with musical tapes in his room. He likes to play basketball, go to the mall and we enjoy seeing all the latest movie releases together when we get the chance. He also loves to draw cartoons!
Superteen: What's the worst thing A.J ever did?
Mom: So far the worst was when he made $200 worth of long distance phone calls to girl in Ohio and kept insisting (until we got the bill) that he only made two or three calls for a few minutes a piece!
Mom Paula describes her youngest son.
Mom: Howard was the youngest of five children and over nine years younger than the next oldest child (we have two boys and three girls). He was always "Little Howie" and was an exceptionally good child. He was always and still is one who is always conscious of other people's feelings. He has never been a discipline problem. He always needed to be busy doing something; anything but sitting around. Boredom was and still is something he can barely tolerate. He gets restless easily when he is not busy.
Superteen: Do you have any funny Howie stories?
Mom: The funniest thing that ever happened to Howeid was when he was in The Wizard of Oz. He was a munchkin with pants three times too big for him around his waist. When he danced they'd always fall down and he constantly had to grab them to keep them up!
