Instant Leadership - How To - Acquaint new members with the opportunities of leadership available in BBYO. Invite one AIT/MIT from each chapter to attend Regional Board Meetings and have them report back to the chapter. (2/22/99)

Executive Board Overnight - Have the members of the chapter board meet with the brother/sister chapter and brainstorm, bond, and communicate their goals for the upcoming year. (Cori Daniels-Kleiner - Advisor to Rainbow BBG - 1/15/99)

New & Old Executive Board Overnight - A variation on the above idea of having the chapter board meet at an overnight. In June, you can have old board meet with new board -- to talk about the chapter - problems they had, programs that never were done, and ideas that worked for the old board. You just have to make sure the old board is represented by leaders who actually worked during the year!!!!!! (Alan Fogel - Asst Director - SIA 2/28/99)

Chapter Leadership Training - Have the board members set aside one meeting, or perhaps a weekend to train members who are interested in running for positions, or members of an incoming board. (Cori Daniels-Kleiner - Advisor to Rainbow BBG - 1/15/99)

Alligator River - How To - This is one version of the age old "Islands" program. However, it is always stimulating and never out of date. If your chapter hasn't done it yet, don't delay. (2/22/99)

"Psychiatrist" aka "Hippopotamus" - How To - This game is a lot of fun for everyone involved. Pick someone who you know can handle the pressure of trying to figure out the rules of the game without cracking or giving up. (Alan Fogel Asst Director - SIA)
