I have loved to draw since I was very young. I earned many scholarships during the years in school but soon learned that I had already learned on my own what they had to teach. So I went off on my own after giving them back for someone else in need. I tried many many different things. Medias, styles,different ideas I came up with not really arriving at any one thing I liked the most. I just loved the fact that I could take a canvas, paper, rocks whatever was at hand and put something on it that was appealing to the eye. And the icing was that people enjoyed what I had to share. Through the years I sold some of my art. I had a very good backer, my sister. She kept me going. Pushing me to keep improving my talent and to share it with the world. As the years went by my attentions turned to a love for exotic birds.
That in itself was a full time job so my art was put on hold. I still do art but on a much smaller scale now. Can't take the art out of a artist I guess. And the subject is always there at hand, no fees to pay for a model, well sorta, I do give them a treat for the time they sit for me. But when I get the urge to draw they are there.
