The WB Will See You Now !!!

Before I get started, i have to give my props. First of all I wish to give honor to God who is my true love, mentor and friend and of whom knows I try my best to make sense of everyday life only to (quite often) muddle it even more.

Some Stuff About Me

Well, for starters - my name is Jonathan H. Gray. But "WB" is a nickname I have here on campus, which stands for "Warner Brothers" cause of the way I draw and cause I have an affinity for cartoons (AS IF YOU COULDN'T ALREADY TELL). I'm a 19 year old black male who currently attends Tennessee State University, home of the Tigers. And I'm basically a fun loving, silly - yet thoughtful - kinda guy!! I want to be an innovator, the guy that starts stuff. The guy thats gonna change the world and turn it upside down into a bowl full of lime gelatin and watch it all just go SQUISH.

I love to draw! Drawing is my life! Almost a passion. Especially seeing as how my goal is to become one of the top black animators in the industry. Something I haven't seen. My major is Animation and Illustration. I love the feeling of sitting down and doing something worthwhile, and looking at your finished product on paper and saying, "Dang, that's good!" To me, that's my rush. Unlike my two cousins Frederick and Lil' Ervin (My TRUE Brothers and Best Friends) I am not all that athletic, though I do keep myself fit. I think thats important. I'm more of the type that likes to sit down and read a good book or watch the toons or music videos on the tube. And speaking of cartoons and comic books that's what I'd like to do when I finish College. I want to go into cartoon animation and comic books and graphic design. Computer animation and whatnot.

I've been to Warner Brothers for one week with my other best friends (Tiffany, Katrina, Byron, Beverly, Kenny, Darius, Lynn, Anthony, Jesse, Jonathan W., and my cousin Andy - What's up Peeps!!) and it really blew my mind! The way they make cartoons is astounding yet so meticulous in it's concept. It really is amazing to see all that goes into it! When I saw the studios, that's when I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I also want to draw/write for Sonic The Hedgehog, one of IMHO the best plotted and drawn (depending on writer and artist) "funny animal" comics on the market today. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I want to leave my mark. I want people to know "Jonathan did this". I wanna be SOMEBODY, and I'm not letting anything - even myself - Stand in my way. I'm not so much as looking for a name for myself, however I am looking to make sure I leave the world with something before I pass. I feel this is important as there are too many money-hungry @$$holes in the world already.

I believe in education for ALL people of all creeds and races - black, white, gold, purple, fuschia, what-ever!!! And it is a standard when I look for a woman. Smarts, first, personality, second, looks, last. (Looks are a cool factor however... - RRROOWWWRRR) Some of the prettiest girls I've met have had the ugliest attitudes, so I'm kinda wary in the seek department. I ain't with all the hot-mamas and women with 17,000 kids all on food stamps. So all of the gum snapping, hair twirling, baby-mamas, ghetto acting, promiscous, wannabe fools that are looking for a cheap thrill can stop looking here cause I ain't the one. ;o)

And last but not least, lets get ONE THING STRAIGHT - I LOATHE drinking and smoking. It is not something I do, and it's not something I want to do. And its something I have NO PLANS on doing. Many of my friends often do one of the other or both of thier own choosing, BUT don't ask me to do it. I hate the stuff.In short, I love life and I try to make the most of every day. And I suggest you do the same. Things'll turn out MUCH happier if you do.
