Hello all of you blues fans! It's been a while since I have updated this site. I have been in school and very busy. There have been a few changes since I last updated the page.
First of all the Blues Fest last year went really smooth and I was very pleased at the number of people that showed up. However, there can always be more people!! I helped all three days and it was fantastic! I encurage anybody out there to help at this years festival. I don't know for sure when it is yet, but I'll find out real soon.
The second change has to do with one of the local blues bands. You still probably know them as "Nine Below Zero." But, because of legal issues, the band had to change thier name. They are now called "The LaCroix Stanton Blues Band." Some group in the UK had the same name. So they threatened to sue them and anyone who had the name "Nine Below Zero" on their web site and asssociated the name with the band(LaCrox Stanton Band). But that is all behind us now. Let's start looking towards the future and especially the Blues Festival. Have a great summer everyone.
