Interesting Sights

Some Interesting things I've seen: I have seen the most spectacular moon rises. It rises up out of the water, like a huge plate, lighting up the sky with an amber hue. I have seen more sunrises with my fishing partner, than all other people combined. I have seen some of natures finest animals in the wild. They include Eagles, Whooping Cranes, Manatees, Panthers, Deer, Moose, Elk, Bears, Buffaloes, Aligators, Otters, and numerous furry critters, too many to mention. I was sitting in the woods, watching a squirrel play in the top of a palm tree. He was jumping and making all kinds of racket. All of a sudden, a hawk swoopes down, grabs the squirrel out of the tree and flys off. The woods got silent for about 15 minutes, then life came back to normal. Nature at it's finest. Now that was a show!!

I've seen some of the most spectacular displays of lightening in the world. I've seen shooting stars so brillant, that they lit the sky in a shower of sparks. I've seen The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, The Grand Tetons, The Great Smokey Mountains, and all points in between. I have been in 34 states. I've seen the angry face of death. I've seen my friends disappear in one lake and come up in another. We had found an underwater cavern, going from one lake to another. It sure surprised a few people, when all of a sudden kids came out from the water and no-one was there 5 seconds before. I have seen grown men cry. I've seen little kids, biting their lips, so they wouldn't cry. I've seen people driving the wrong way, on a one way street. I've seen snow in Florida. I've seen what happens to a person, when they have a broken heart!

I've seen the love and trust in a baby's face. I've seen my children grow into adults. I've seen the birth of puppies. I've seen the love and respect of two people married for 50 years. I've seen waterspouts, hurricanes, Floods, and the anguish they cause. I've seen the friendships that develop over the internet. I've seen what it's like to be hungry. One day while making deliveries, I saw a man holding up a sign saying "Will Work for Food!! On the bus stop bench was his wife and 2 children. These children were filthy and extremely under nourished. I turned around, (because I too had passed them by) went through the drive-thru at Burger King, got 4 cheeseburgers, 4 fries, 4 drinks, gave them to the mom and kids. I can't describe how those kids ate. This was the first meal they had had for 3 days. I slipped mom a few bucks. The mother cried and I left with my eyes watering.
