PRAYER

After The Rain Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
There will always be sunshine,
After The Rain.

Perhaps you may stumble,
you might even fall
But God's always ready
to answer your call.

He knows every heartache,
sees every tear
A word from His lips
can calm every fear.

Your sorrows may linger
throughout the night
But suddenly vanish,
at dawn's early light.

The Savior is waiting
somewhere above,
To give you His grace
and send you His love.

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
God always sends
rainbows After The Rain

I Know
I know He is the beginning, so why do I worry about the end.
I know He is the creator, so why do I wonder who will destroy.
I know He has forgiven me, so why can't I forgive myself.
I know He is a healer, so why do I speak of sickness.
I know He can do all things, so why do I say I can't.
I know He will protect me, so why do I fear.
I know He will supply all my needs, so why can't I wait.
I know He is my strength and my salvation, so why do I feel weak.
I know that everything and everyone has a season, so why when someone's season is over do I weep instead of rejoice.
I know He is the right way, so why do I go the wrong way.
I know He is the light, so why do I choose to walk in darkness.
I know that whatever I ask of GOD, GOD will give me, so why am I scared to ask.
I know tomorrow is not promised, so why do I put off for tomorrow what I can do today.
I know that the truth shall make me free, so why do I continue to lie.
I know He gives us revelation knowledge and understanding, so why do I lean on my own understanding.
I know I should live in the spirit as well as walk in the spirit, so why do I choose to live in the spirit but walk in the flesh.
I know that when praises go up blessings come down, so why do I refuse to praise Him.
I know I am saved, so why do I refuse the word He has given me.
I know He has a plan for me, so why am I rushing it because I am eager to do His will, when it is His time not my time."

JESUS OR SANTA CLAUS--Who Will You Choose?

Santa lives at the North Pole, Jesus is EVERYWHERE.
Santa rides in a sleigh, Jesus WALKS ON WATER.
Santa comes but once a year, Jesus is EVER PRESENT.
Santa fills your stocking with goodies, Jesus SUPPLIES ALL YOUR NEEDS.
You have to wait in line to see Santa, Jesus is AS CLOSE AS THE MENTION OF HIS NAME.
Santa lets you sit on his lap, Jesus lets you REST IN HIS ARMS.
Santa doesn't know your name, Jesus KNEW YOUR NAME BEFORE ANYBODY.
Santa has a belly like a bowl of jelly, Jesus has a HEART FULL OF LOVE.
All Santa can offer is a "Ho ho ho!", Jesus offers HOPE.
Santa says, "You better not cry...", Jesus says, "Cast all your care on Me, for I CARE FOR YOU."
Santa's little helpers make toys, Jesus MAKES NEW LIFE, MENDS WOUNDED HEARTS, REPAIRS BROKEN HOMES and BUILDS MANSIONS.
Santa may make you chuckle, Jesus GIVES YOU JOY that is your strength.
Santa puts gifts under your tree, Jesus BECAME OUR GIFT and died on a tree.
It is obvious that there is no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is about.
We need to PUT CHRIST BACK INTO CHRISTMAS.

They'll Never Take My Jesus

They can take the ten commandments Off the courthouse walls They can even take all the manger scenes Out of the parks and malls They can take my Blessed Bible Tear the pages all apart But they'll never take my Jesus Out of my heart

They can take away our right to pray Throw us all in jail But they can't take away the life he gave Or send my soul to hell Yes they can take my Blessed Bible Tear the pages all apart But they'll never take my Jesus Out of my heart

They can take away our liberty To preach God's Holy Word They can make it be against the law If we witness door to door Oh they can stop our voice From preaching in the streets Oh and even in the park But they'll never take my Jesus Out of my heart

Oh, they can take away our right to pray And even throw us all in jail But they can't take away the life he gave They can't send my soul to hell Oh they can take my Blessed Bible Tear the pages all apart But they'll never, never take my Jesus Out of my heart

Oh they can take my life and bury me In a grave so cold, cold and dark But they'll never take my Jesus Out of my heart Never get him out of my heart. They'll Never Take My Jesus Out Of My Heart

The Night Before Jesus Came

Twas the night before Jesus came, when all through the house, not a creature was praying, not one in the house;

The Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that JESUS would not come there;

The children were dressing to crawl into bed, Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.

And Mom in her rocker with baby on lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here,

With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of His face made me cover my head It was Jesus! Returning just like He had said.

And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the book of Life which He held in His hand Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above,

With those who were ready He rose without a sound While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.

I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near.

There's only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all.

Finding The Center

Just Trust Here are some very interesting facts about the center of The Bible

Psalms 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible. Psalms 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible. Psalms chapter 118 is in the very center of the Bible.

There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118 and 594 chapters after Psalms 118. If you add the 594 chapters before plus 594 chapters after the total is 1188.

The center verse in the Bible is: Psalms 118:8 This verse says something very significant about God's perfect will for our lives. Psalms 118:8 (KJV)

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

From Genesis to Revelation God is teaching us to trust Him.

Here are just a few of my favorite verses. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Nahum 1:7

"The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him." 2 Corinthians 3:4-5 "And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;"

No matter what your situation, you can trust God because He loves You!!

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."2nd Timonthy 2:15
