~Mike wore a woolhat to keep his hair out of his face when he rode his motor bike. The writers liked it, and so, decided to use it in the show. After a while of being refered to as "wool hat" Mike hated that had, but had to wear it all through the first season because of the writers.

~When the guys were on vacation, the monkee people released their second album "more of the monkees". The guys had no imput in this album, it was simply some pre-recorded songs placed on an album that the guys had no idea was being made. When Mike got back, he was furious (as well he should be!) and punched his fist through the wall and said "that could have been your face!"

~Michael's mother invented Liquid Paper. She was a typist and was constantly using white paint to cover mistakes. She decided to market it as "liquid paper". She sold the rights to the Gillette Co., before she died.

~The Monkees actually wrote most of the scenes in "Head", yet recieved no writing credit. When Mike heard about this, he went Nez (As he's accustomed to doing- but with every right) and locked all the film tape in his car. He eventually gave the keys up, but he nearly wouldn't let them finish "Head"!

~Mike's second wife- Katharine- once locked all of his tapes and stuff inside of his car! I have no idea why...i guess she was mad...and i little outta her birds, maybe...

~ Mike actually asked Phyllis to marry him before they even went on a date! She said no, so he waited and asked again, and she said yes!

~Michael wrote the horn and cello section to "Shades Of Grey"

~the walls of Mike's trailor was covered in cigarette packs and other flashy materials.

~Michael's dog Frak once bit Sunny and Cher! Davy was afraid of it =)

~In high school, Mike asked a girl to go to some dance with him. She said yes...then hid in the rest room all night! (poor Mike!) He brought her flowers the next day, and said he hoped things worked out better next time. (awww! how sweet!)

~Davy's mother died when he was 14, and his father died when he was 23

~Davy eats eggs, potatoes, black tea, and rye toast for breakfast (i'm not obsessed < g > )

~Davy was (and maybe still is..) able to wake himself up any time he wanted, without an alarm clock. What he would do was, the night before, decide when he wanted to wake up the next morning; he would then slam his head down on the pillow that many times before going to sleep. Like, if he wanted to wake up at 6:30am, he'd bang his head 6 times on the pillow, then for the 30, he'd set his head gently on the pillow =)

~ * Davy was in the Broadway play "Oliver" before becoming a Monkee and played The Artful Dodger.

~ * David was in "Oliver" again in '88 and played Fagin.

~He played Michael in the Broadway play of "Peter Pan" when he was 15.

~Davy was in the Broadway play "Grease!"

~David played Jesus in the broadway production of "Godspell!"

~ * Davy was a trainee jockey before becoming a Monkee and he still does amature races. On his daughter's horse Dingpast, he won a few years ago- in I believe 1996; at Lingfield, England, in an amateurs handicap..

~Davy sang "Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse" in the Bluegrass Special.
