Woke up this morning at 8 (which is pretty late for me, usually I wake up at 5:30 or 6:00) and felt much better than I have been feeling the last couple of weeks. Went to the haircut-dude (Marco) and went to buy me some blank cd-writeables (Getting Frontpage 98). Oh we even went out to buy a wooden floor for our house. When we came back we sat down for some coffee when the doorbell rang! It was just one long, hard ringing sound but the Mrs. and me knew what it could mean... We know how our neighbours ring our doorbell so it wasn't them... People of the church usually don't ring that long so it could only mean one thing and one thing only...

THE POSTMAN RANG ONLY ONCE!!!!

My whole life was shattered! I always thought that them postmen always rang twice. Maybee it's because they have summerperiod-workers that don't know about the 'code'? Maybee he had been out of the business too long? He didn't ring twice...

I soon came over my nervous breakdown when he told me what he brought me... A parcel from FAR @W@Y!! Finally the slowboat had made it to my house... The long awaited parcel from Me_7 had arrived! It contained gifts from her hubby and her. A Jann Arden cd for the Mrs. (she had her B-day last month. Sending this in time but by Airmail would have been TOOOOOO X-pensive), A Beany the Dog (Tm) for lil' Romy and for The Mrs., and Romy and me a piece d'Art for our new home...

It shows the Canadian geese like they really are and the way the native Candians painted them.... I think it's a very beautifull work of art! I also think that it will find a great place in our new home (in October/November). For the time being it has found a spot in our livingroom.
