This movie is about Elwood Blues (Dan Akroyd), who, after being released from jail, wants to get his old blues band back together. However, his brother, Jake Blues, is dead so he finds a replacement in Mighty Mack (John Goodman). They also adopt an orphan, Buster, and after getting their band members back together, go on a tour while trying to evade the police, who are after them for "kidnapping" Buster, as they didn't tell anyone they were adopting him. Anyway, the movie starts out semi-ok but as it goes on, it gets more and more and more ridiculous... for instance, a preacher at a Christian Revival meeting that the Blues Brothers attended to escape the cops magically transforms the police chief into a Blues Brother... and in one scene, there are perhaps a dozen police cars chasing them but they end up crashing in a stupid 5-minute scene during which hundreds of cars crash. ...And at the end, they are supposed to put on a concert at some witch's house, where she temporarily turns them into zombies and later turns the police into rats. What's worse, is that they make Buster a member of the band and dress him up in their little outfit and have him sing. I don't care if I just ruined the plot of this movie, because YOU SHOULD NOT SEE IT.
