Blade

This a very entertaining and fast-paced movie about Blade (Wesley Snipes), a super-powerful vampire hunter. Just before he was born, his mother was bitten by a vampire; therefore, Blade inherited all the strengths of a vampire and none of a vampire's weaknesses. He is teamed up with an old vampire hunter named Whistler, who produces the antidote that prevents Blade from turning completely into a vampire and also builds the very cool weapons that Blade uses. Later in the movie, Blade rescues a hematologist named Karen from a vampire and gains her assistance. Meanwhile, Blade's arch-enemy, vampire Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff) attempts to overthrow the old vampire council and activate the Blood Tide, a spell that would turn all humans into vampires. This movie gets four stars for its great action and awesome fighting scenes (which are as good as, if not better, than the ones in "The Matrix") and pretty cool plot.
