This movie contains graphic violence, partial nudity, and graphic language. I would definately not recommend it for children.

Type: Horror

*** (out of five stars)

In this movie, set about 50 years in the future, the crew of the USAC Lewis & Clark is sent to salvage the Event Horizon and rescue its crew. The ship, which was a prototype ship designed for faster-than-light travel, mysteriously disappeared seven years ago when it attempted its first faster-than-light jump. When the crew reaches the ship, they pick up odd life form readings throughout the ship, but are unable to find any survivors. Once they board the ship to investigate, many odd things occur and the crew begins having many hallucinations due to some unseen force aboard the ship. This is as much as I will explain, so I don't ruin the plot for anyone who wans to see the movie. I gave this three and a half stars because for a horror movie, it was quite innovative and frightening. However, the movie is more "freaky" than scary and it takes awhile for the action to start up.
